Which motor mounts to get?
I am yanking my motor and I am wondering what are the best motor mounts to get. Solid, Polyurathane? Stock? Any input would be great.

I say get the polyurethane ones. I replaced the drivers side mount on my car with an Energy Suspensions one and it helped quite a bit. Another manufacturer makes ones that are specific for LS1's. The one I have I had to modify slightly to fit in the clamshell. Hope this helps.

I agree on the poly mounts. My Prothane mounts have dramatically reduced the amount of engine movement while adding only the slightest vibration if any at all. I would highly recommend doing the poly mounts (even just poly on the driver's side is a large improvement) - they should satisfy most anybody who isn't building a track-only car.

Thunder Racing has the Prothane mounts in stock. Do not get the Energy Suspension mounts. They are generic and not a good swap on the LS1.
