that kit is basically doing the same thing as the ram air setup on your car, but instead of taking air from the scoops in the hood, it takes it from below the car and brings it up into the bottom of the air box.

something like this seems more worthwhile in my opinion-

it takes full advantage of the ram air system by removing the factory baffles and allowing air to be rammed into the engine more effectively.

i would also look into a lid if you don't already have one. they help a bit performance wise but they also really clean up the engine bay.

dude you could make one of those yourself or better with a trip to the hardware store .
look up doubt-it in the drag section . he has pics and it also uses a part of the air box that you cut out . a little more air cant hurt .

that link directs me to a thread about rocker ratios and what not...hahah

if you're referring to the first kit i would still stay away from it anyway just because you have a perfectly good ram air set up in place already, you just need tweak it to take full advantage of it. once you hit ~60mph and the air box starts pressurizing you want that air to be sealed in and forced directly into your intake. you don't want the air being rammed in to escape out of the bottom where that other kit comes up... plus i never liked how those kits blocked the radiator off.

if you're referring to the second kit, yeah you could just cut the baffles out and use some type of foam or rubber to help make a better seal, i was just pointing out that that would probably be a wiser design.

i fixed the link my bad . the power isnt something that you could measure on a dyno . the faster you go the more it will benefit you on the actual road .

i read this a while back while making my own . this dude did a really cool write up on how to determine and show how much more horespower at what mph on the road .
