Cutout installed today.....HOLY ****!!!!!!!! Just had my QTEC cutout put on today and all I can say is DAMN!!! It now sounds like it should, very mean. I didn't hook up the wiring for the plate yet, maybe this weekend. At idle it isn't that obnoxious, but get on it and heads turn. I love the sound, haven't had it on the highway yet, and can't really speak for gains, but throttle response does seem to be much better however.If you're thinking about doing this mod, DO IT!! I'll post again after I hook up the QTEC plate and report how that goes.

Re: Cutout installed today.....HOLY ****!!!!!!!! i just got my q-tec on about a week ago,it's bad azz.the hookup was real easy,only took me about an hour. i turn alot of heads going by now. i have mac's but will be switching to cook or thunder racing headers soon.

I too have a cutout and boy oh boy....Heads definately whip around when I'm cruisin, I have even had a couple people ask me if I had a big block under the hood. Only complaint is that it does rattle the hell out of the inside of the car, but for $145 it was well worth it!

tested first closed then open same day same dyno within 20 mins of eachothers no dyno tricks
that 13 was over flowmaster catback
now i have lts and ypipe and i think i am going def!

Re: Cutout installed today.....HOLY ****!!!!!!!! I just got a Flowtech Race Ready and noticed how crudely the cutout is actually cut out. It looks like a grizzly bear ripped a gash in the main pipe with his claw and some guy came later and welded the bypass pipe on.
