Muffle down the SLP LM

Muffle down the SLP LM
Will be doing headers & pipe so doing my homework to have all mods done at once and minimize downtime.
1) Is putting a high flow muffler like the Hooker's or something like it, in place of the SLP Loudmouth resonator a good idea?
2) Where would the muffler go?
I like the grunt of the LM but totally hate the harmonics and drone at the 2-2.5K RPM range. Talk about a headache on long trips...

Re: Muffle down the SLP LM
I know someone who has a Borla bullet installed in the pipe which spans between the two tail pipes; exactly where the stock muffler would be.
It is nice and gets rid of alot of the drone until he really gets on the gas, at that point it sounds just about the same as it would without the bullet.
