dont even worry about buying the bmr TB bypass kit. use fuel line hose and cut it to the lenght u need. doesnt rub the waterpump pulley and looks better too!

Does anyone know what diameter of hose to use?

I just bought a kit off of ebay that I assumed would work out of the box, but of course there is no way physically possible to get it to work without rubbing the pulley below.

Why they don't just throw in a little bit of extra hose is beyond me. What a scam.

Anyway, anyone know what hose to use?

I have sae30r6 hose that came with my ws6store catchcan kit (something else I haven't installed yet)

Can I use that? It looks to be the same size, it says it is 3/8 inch?

OK, looks like I need 5/16" 30R7 fuel line.

Should have just bought that in the first place instead of wasting time with this stupid coupler that doesn't work.

it works, just gotta work with it, i lengthened my hose to the radiator with 3/8 fuel line i think, (left the barb fittings and **** from BMR on) and tucked it under my TB and intake and ran it that way. basically just makes a u-turn and goes back to the radiator insted of across the pulley.

Just buy some hard fuel line and bend it to the correct shape then use fittings on the ends. This is what I did. Use a coat hanger for a model before bending the tubing.

Dunno bout those fancy LS1s, but on my LT1 I didnt even need a kit (was a noob). The hose coming off the throttle body back to the rad was long enough to connect back to the original line that fed into the throttle body.

I foudn a small metal tube around the garage and cut it about 2 inches long, put it into each end of hose and a year later its still good. $free.99
