Keep an eye on the classified section, or just do a search for Borla in the classifieds and see if there's any recent threads of people selling them. They're for sale fairly often on here.

As for the tips, I don't know why everyone hates them so much. I liked them. I think Corsa tips look too "pretty" on these cars. I know I'm alone when I say that though . The adjustable Borla's great. With stock manifolds and the block off plate removed, it wasn't loud at all and had a nice tone to it. With longtubes and ORY I usually kept the closed plate in and thought it sounded great.

sorry guys, just my opinion, but I still don't get what the hype is about Borla...its ugly and sounds like junk, especially with headers.

If your on a budget borrow a sawzall. Get a metal blade and cut off your muffler behind the axle. Sounds good honestly and not as loud as you think as long as the cats are on. Can't beat free. I call it a no-master cause that is what everybody thinks I have.

There are only a couple of rpms when accelerating that are annoying and buzz the dash a little. Plus that it's a little bit of weight gone ;-)

It will tide you over until you get cash for a real cat back. Or get headers/true duals like I'm planning.

Long tubes and a cutout. Cheaper than a catback.

B&B sounds pretty fierce with a cutout as well. I vote that route.

Well by the sound of it ..You want a clean sound, dont care about the price so much..Want something that you can use with your Y pipe...

From your choices ... And being around ALL of those catbacks .. B&B ..is somewhat quiet but can be really loud at WOT..taking off is avg

Borla is quiet when ran through the muffler, when opened sounds sweet as hell! and when adding longtubes & cats , becomes the best sounding Duo on the market for the ls1 ..

GMMG does make your car sound like a '70's 350.. And i hate when people ask me "Is that one of them 350's" .. Plus the tips are absolutely Hideous

Corsa...eh.. Sounds okay but for 1000 ill pass ..

MY VOTE -Borla .. No matter what you throw at it mods wise, you can always control the sound if you get the adjustable version and add an E-cutout for it .. Cats or no cats it stills sounds sweet.. But like i said . Longtubes, catted Y , and borla adj catback is the way intend to go. Best sound by far !!

Summit sells Borla catbacks brand new for $832.99

Borla sounds too much like a large panther stuck inside your pipes when the plate is off. It has a scream that is too much for me.

To each his own. I have heard some that were just terrible sounding and others that were on par with bad ***.
