I just installed my Hooker headers and I don't think it could have gone any easier. On both sides I removed the plug wires and plugs and on the passenger side the dipstick was removed. Thats it, nothing else was removed from the car. I had my Z up in the air 21 inches and that was more than enough to complete the install. Both side went in very easy and I could not be happier! I did the install myself without any help. One thing I really did like was the Hooker kit came with REAL O2 sensor wire extensions, nice new bolts, real metal gaskets and band clamps. Now its time for a dyno tune!

Hey Tim, you know my vote. Pacesetter, the install for Hookers(Supercomps atleast) is a PITA. Pacesetters slide right in.

Hookers without a doubt. I think the Pacesetters have more votes because they are cheaper and more people have them. Hookers are coated on the outside AND the inside and they have better ground clearance. I have them on my car and have had no problems at all. Got a good deal on mine from a sponsor on here.

i just had coated pacesetters installed.... didnt have to remove anything but dipstick and plugs/wires. Otherwise the headers went right in. Had to hammer the driver side in a little bit but it worked flawlessly. As previous people said they will have surface rust rather quickly... for that reason I bought used ones and saved some money.
