I've seen a couple of posts on here refering to a LSX intake manifold. What exactly is it and what is its significance.

It's a new intake manifold that will supposedly flow significantly higher than the LS6 intake (which is the highest flowing we really have at the moment). It is made by F.A.S.T.

In addition, it's based on the ls6 manifold, but the ports have been designed to support more air flow, without loosing much (if any) velocity. We'll see; no one seems to know when it's coming out and there have been no published tests.
