Need help with ls6 intake???

Oil sending unit is behind the intake a gets hooked up and snapped if you're not super careful when pulling the old one out. I learned the hard way. :banghead:

Ok thank you very much for all your input. When i pull off the intake does the oil sending unit get stuck on that tube thing sticking out the back of the intake?

no it doesn't get stuck but when you remove the intake make sure you have your hand on the brake booster hose which is connected to the back of intake and raise it up a lil to avoid hitting the OSU.. same applies when you put it back on..

just take your time and it's not too bad.

Ok sounds good but i have one more question. How do i bleed the fuel rails so it doesnt get all over the engine bay?

Oh ok i just thought that gas would spill all over the engine when i took off the fuel rail. Again thank you darkhorse ss for all the help. Oh by the way your car looks amazing with those wheels

You will get some fuel on it.. but it'll be when you take the injectors out with the fuel rails (I left all of mine attached). No way to really get around it. Just have some rags handy.
