i have on 00 trans am vert with hooker catback id like to get hooker long tubes and a y pipe just to make it legit but i have noticed pacesetter has a much better price for long tubes.... but here is my question what all do i need to connect long tubes to a y pipe to cat back ? will it just fit into the cat back or will i need a pipe in between the cat back exhaust and the y pipe? please any help thanx guys.

Everything is "slip-fit" on the Pacesetter system. I'd recommend investing in some band clamps instead of the u-bolts that come with the kit. You can find the band clamps at local autoparts stores for around $8-13 a piece.

I got my ceramic coated Hooker LTs for under $400 shipped with 02 extensions, bolts, and gaskets....from a mail order speed company which happens to be yellow and black.
