LS2 Waterpump I have a 2002 Z28 with a never ending cooling problem. I've flushed and burped the system, checked for leaks and blockages by the radiator, and upgraded to an LS2 waterpump out of a GTO. My next step is to change the thermostat. I didn't do the waterpump so I don't know if the thermostat was checked, replaced, etc... My question is this: should i get a thermostat for a GTO or a Camaro? also, can a Camaro thermostat fit on a LS2 waterpump? if the camaro thermostat cannot fit on the new waterpump, then my problem is most likely not the thermostat because they would have had to replace the thermostat as well. thanks in advance or any help.
