Exactly what does a cut-out do for your exhaust? What is an elctronic cut-out and how does that work. I want my Borla Cat back to be a little louder. Will the cut-out work?

You essentially have a cutout. Your passenger side tailpipe is a free flow design. Open the flow.

Actually you can install an electric butterfly valve which would control this, and you can regulate your Borla from the cockpit. Nice.

Cutout, 3" Flotech welded under pass. side foot tunnel into intermediate pipe gave me exactly 4 hp and 12 ft. lbs. torque on the dyno. I have stock exhaust manifolds, gutted factory cats w/O2 sims, LG Motorsports 2&3/4" Y pipe, and SLP Dual-Dual perf. exhaust. With this exhaust, a cutout's not worth a whole lot more....'02 A4 SS.
