Never any issues here and it's in both my vehicles...'00 SS and '02 Blazer (w/ the 4.3 to boot). I'm a stickler for maintenance though and keep a close eye on the cooling system in particular due to all the stories I've heard about Dexcool. I will however say that I'd never leave it in my vehicle for the advertised 5yrs or 150,000 miles though, that's just crazy.
Anyway, about that settlement that was mentioned.....http://www.dexcoolsettlement.com/

I dunno-looks like your overheating in your picture Seriously, I'd just use Prestone all makes and models antifreeze.

the dexcool sucks *****. I have seen it literally turn into mud in gm cars (managed a service shop). Flush your whole system out and use the green stuff!!!!!!!!

Don't use deathcool.
Flush that garbage out and run the yellow coolant.

Dexcool - what a joke! Flushed my cooling system out within a week of owning my car. Went with green, no problems here.

My take on dexcool is as follows. Why run something that can have severe issues if mixed with another coolant when it is no better than generic green coolant that can be mixed with whatever you want? I have yet to see even one legitimate advantage dexcool has over normal coolant, but I have seen and read several possible disadvantages. I am not even taking into consideration the myths and unsubstantiated horror stories I have read about it.

It is bizarre how Dexcool degrades into sludge if left in a car too long - like GM advises. I have had no problems on my LS1, but my wife's Montana and daughter's Grand Am both had to have intake gaskets replaced, and the Montana a head gasket as well.

Is it Dexcool or poor quality gaskets? The newer aftermarket gaskets are supposedly upgraded, but I went to green on both those cars anyway. When I flushed my M6 car, I went to the Mercedes G-05 coolant and will do same next time I flush the A4.
