Whats best to cut 3" pipe??

Whats best to cut 3" pipe??

So im looking to installing my LT's & ORY hopefully sometime soon, havent had much time lately or atleast a full day to dedicate to working on it. Anyway's, the car has a custom 3" y pipe on it, and ill be needing to cut it off. Im just wondering, what would be the best tool to do it with???

Also how high should i get the car lifted when doing the install & cutting the Y pipe??? Im pretty sure i can get it lifted up in the air at my brother in laws shop but other then that. I just have the ramps i got from Advanced Auto...

sawzall with a metal cutting blade will get the job done...

if you have an air compressor, the best way is with an air grinder/cutter. in my opinion.

I used my sawzall to cut the casting tab on the block to make the installation of the drivers side header easier... plus I got a cool little chunk of LS1 to make into a keychain

If you're cutting stainless steel you will go THRUUU some blades, but regular aluminized steel is no problem.
