Default Vent tube on ls2 valley plate?

Picked up a 403 ls2 6 months ago for my build. I had to get the ls2 valley plate without the ports for the knock sensors. There is a vent tube on the plate thats about 4 long...I assume that its a breather vent, can I just leave it open or does a tube need to be ran somewhere.

if it is NA you can run it straight to the intake manifold...
if it is in a boosted car you would want to run it to the inlet of the turbo/SC...
must be to a vacuum source ONLY...
if you pressurize that passage you risk damaging the motor...

The only thing is that I dont have anywhere else to hook it up to the intake. The only thing I could do would be to set up some king of vac line splitter that runs off of the hose for the intake to the brake booster. I need to try and find some pictures of the setup on here somewhere. Thatnks for the input...if anyone else has some suggestions post em up. thanks

OK upon reading 2 pages worth of a thread on this very same subject....my brain is fried. Everyone is running ls1/2/6 intakes, this means they have pcv lines that I dont have because of my vic jr. It doesnt seem to make sense that I would want to un that line from the tube to the TB because I could be potentially be recirculating that oil from the valley plate back into the intake.

-If I cap off 1 vent on the pass. side valve cover im done dealing with that.

-Then if I run a hose from the valley plate breather to the open vent in the valve cover there would be no vaccum lose. BUT does the motor need to ventilated more than that? Is my only option a catch can? Im ****** lost.....
