Default LS6 Valley Cover Mod...

What are the benefits of this mod? and exactly what does it entail? I have the LS6 intake, and the only reason I'm asking is cause I'm going to have to replace my rear knock sensor as it's throwing a low voltage code and I'm going to be there anyway so I'm just wondering what if any advantage there would be to go w/the LS6 Valley cover when I do my Knock Sensor Change.

TIA...

Mostly helps with oil consumption because there is an oil sepearator under the vally cover. Instead of the PCV pulling from the valve cover, it pulls from the valley cover.

There's some good info on JMX's web site http://www.ls1howto.com/index.php?article=18

I did it to my car. Most time consuming part was grinding the block. I bit the bullet and got the LS6 PCV tubing. Looks nice and clean. Not sure of the net benefits, but it's one less thing to worry about.

Do you happen to have a picture of the LS6 PCV tubing? When I did the mod, I used rubber hose (mainly because I planned on retaining my catch can).

How much cleaner does the engine bay look? I have mine sitting here, just need some motivation to install it.
