A/C Compressor Rebuild?

A/C Compressor Rebuild? My a/c compressor died a month or two ago, so I nabbed one off ebay. It came with the evaporator, all the hoses, etc, and I got it for not much, so Im not terribly upset that it has a massive leak between the two halves of the casing, but as you can imagine, Im not excited about it either.
Is it possible to rebuild these, or am I pretty much SOL?
