slp ls6 intake manifold??
slp ls6 intake manifold?? does anybody have the slp ls6 intake with the egr mod? it says on this site i was looking at that this intake enables the use of the egr? is this true? who all has this intake on their 98-00 f-body?

NO...they lied
its the ls6 intake, with provisions for EGR. what's hard to understand. it gives the same exact gains as an intake pulled off an existing motor.
its a great option for emissions strict states. although its a good chunk more $$.
so if you don't HAVE TO use it for emissions...find a used ls6

does anybody know what it means by cut the original egr tube to work with this intake? is it talking about the metal tube thing that pulls out of the stock manifold or something else?
I've got the SLP LS6 w/EGR on my '98 Z28. I added it when I did my LS6 swap. Yes, the EGR tube that comes out of the intake is what needs to be cut. You can download the installation instructions from SLP's website and they include pics of what and where the cuts need to be made.
