Default Corsa or GMMG?

I need something that is going to sound good with no cats and longtubes. I can have open headers whenever I flip the switch so I don't want loud. I hear both the GMMG and Corsa sound great. I'm leaning towards the Corsa because I hear the resonance is low and the sound is more exotic than grunt. Also, is it true that it is quiet... until you get on it? Thats kind of what i'm looking for. What does the GMMG sound like? What are its characteristics? Thanks guys.

I might be bias, but I say GMMG. Ive heard corsa and its high pitch sounding. Id try to hear both, but either way you go you cant go wrong. I think there is a GMMG system for sale in the for sale section.

We have the Corsa system on our 30th Trans Am, and it sounds great, and its worth the money. however, our car has the cats and stock headers.
Good luck...but I think that removing the cats and putting on headers, it is going to be hard to keep a "quiet exhaust"

The Corsa is just too quiet for me. Id never buy it just for that reason. Im not saying that its a bad muffler. Its just too high pitched. Not raspy though. To me a cut out on a stock car is quiet. So that should give you a taste of what my deffiniton of whats loud and quiet. IMO go with the GMMG. You wont be sorry.

I heard a Corsa when the car was stock, it was so quiet almost sounded stock. He put a 224/224 114 cam and FLP headers and no cats. It now has a high pitch scream and will honestly hurt your ears if you are within 50ft from the back of the car. It rasps like hell but he is happy with it. It wakes up all his neighbors and he doesn't get on it at all around his house. If you are going with cutouts another guy has a 408ci stroker with flowmaster catback, Hooker headers, no cats with cutouts, it sounds awesome, much quieter and subdued. There is a 40hp difference through the cutouts on the dyno so it is a little more restrictive but that's what the cutouts are for.
