4" Exhaust Connectors

4" Exhaust Connectors I'm trying to figure out the best way to join together some 4" pipes. I've got a deal on a used 4" mufflex exhuast with a flowmaster muffler. I would like to put a flange of some type right in front of the muffler, so I can remove that portion if I need to, as well as a clamp on the up-slope part of the over-axle pipe (I would just have it in the I pipe but I am concerned about clearance) so I can remove the whole Y pipe assembly. Currently, I have 3" V Band clamps on my header collectors made by dynatech, but the biggest they make is 3". I would love some more 4" V-band clamps, but they are freakin expensive. Does anyone know of a place to pick up two V band clamps on the cheap? Or does anyone care to offer a better solution to connecting the pipes together. No band clamps... I've played that game and its nothing but leaks.

Im going through the same issue right now. I just talked to dynatech and they only offer 2.5 and 3.0. Im doind little searching right now if I find something ILl let you know. PM sent

lastcall sent me a link to a page where they had some, but they looked like the Nelson V band clamps that I tried the first time from a Volvo truck place. The didnt have the thick milled collar, but rather a thin flange, about the same thickness of the pipe. The leaked like CRAZY!!! The style like dynatech makes with the thick flange will not leak. Let me know if you find anything. Also, lastcall, let me know if their 4" kind is different then what is pictured, because that looks just like the style that leaked.
