ARH Install Experience
My ARH's have been my favorite, and bar none the best mod I've done yet. I absolutely love them!
Did mine myself too. Took ~4hrs to uninstall the old stuff, throw on the new stuff. WAY easier than all the header horror stories I'd heard in the past. My buddy just put some on his Z28 a month or so ago and it only took him and another buddy 4-5hrs or so....he too loves the headers.
You installed them yourself! You guys amaze me. I can see that it would be doable, but that extra pair of hands makes it totally painless.
It must have been a little tricky to slide them in and getting them to not fall back down while you got out from under the car. How did you manage that, just curious?

Did mine my self up on jacks, left two spark plugs in and just hung them on the plugs and then went up top and got a couple of bolts in. been in about 8 mouths now no leaks no banging, I'm on strano springs and have never hit them. It's making around 390 RWHP on a 2000 F-bod with only a small cam through cats and orginal Dual-Dual muffler.

I like that.What I noticed is that the y-pipe is rock solid, really rigid. When I installed it I couldn't see how it could possibly bang, and it doesn't.
