head and intake match
head and intake match just got new heads, and still decideing on intake. was wondering how many of you did a "gasket match" to the intake? if you had a shop do it, how much $$ did it cost? and how hard to do yourself? thanks for the help.
I have gaset matched a couple lt1 intake and it was rather quick and easy not much harder that porting a throtle body. My friends had his intake manifold ported and matched to his heads and both where gasket matched with great results I think it was $500 for heads and intake at a local shop.
if you do it your self a dremel with several different grinding sanding and polishing tips are needed as well as wome wd40 a permenant marker or metal die a steady hand some patience and a case of beer. It is very simple to gasket match if you have a steady hand and can use a dremel ok.
