I havent removed mine yet, BUT it hasnt been on for over a year, turned off. I just gotta remove that hunk of junk for some weight savings.
There are stories either way of both doing no harm and wrecking the cats, but I think it more comes down to the tune at startup.
Can I ask why you want to keep the cats and remove the AIR system? They go hand in hand, I would just remove the cats as well.
Or if you need them for "smog", then I would leave the AIR system on. Trending Topics
