Re: Ported Throttle body TIPS I made the IAC hole wider than recommended in most of the writeups. My car would not idle well until I opened it up more. (The IAC count was high, but not enough air was making it through)

I cut some brass tubes and layed them in the old holes. I was able to easily position the tubes at the propper angle and I didn't have to go back and re-drill. I Cut the end of each tube at the same bevel (angle) as the inside of the throttle body to get an initial close fit. Then Epoxy, of course, took care of the rest.
The porting part of the job was a pain and took longer than I thought but it was worth it. And I still idle perfect.

Re: Ported Throttle body TIPS here's mine, i canned the pcv and coolant tubes since i don't use them.. and filled it with epoxy putty.. same kind i used in the idle control area.
the port blend on this and the shaft machining was done by are, as well as the throttle stop grind to ensure 100% opening.
while at it i put a little bling on it too.. i used rustoleum hammer finish.. very tough stuff.
