Try a search with the words "bellows" and "fernco"

Is it worth 50 bux for a bellows? Probably not.
Is it worth 5 bux for a bellows? I thought so...

a 3"x3" rubber hose sold at home depot that a couple of us have used as a smooth bellows. works just as good as the slp one, but its only ~$6 (compared to ~$45 for the SLP one)

Is there any difference from stock that you can tell ??

I'm just curious to know where to spend the cash.

I'm guessing not a huge HP difference from stock, but every little bit helps.

Besides, you really can't go wrong with a $5 mod.

Exactly.

Plus it looks a whole lot better than the stock accordian bellows

Has anyone else noticed that SLP changed thier smooth bellows design? I ordered the one from SLP and got the one in the picture jrp posted, but that's not what the SLP one used to look like is it?

FWIW, mine didn't even fit right I had to cut it to make it fit. Plus, it kept ripping the airbox tabs out of the little holders when the engine would move.

Did you order it from SLP or get it off ebay/second hand?

Reason I ask.. There is a character falsely selling what he calls "exactly like SLP" bellows. His version is made of a thicker material simular to the fernco.

Ordered the one from air flow systems.... will see how it works and post updates !! Its was cheap !! only $13 !! Not as cheap as a fernco but cheaper than an SLP one.

We'll see what happens.

thanks for the help !!

Who has a fernco on a WS6?

I bought one, and really had to hack it to make it work, i said it was not worth the hassle, and now its on a friends SS. and fit perfect

Both with SLP lids

Ryan.

I ordered it from TSP when I got my lid from them, but it came with an SLP instruction sheet and all that crap.

Put on the Air Flow Systems bellows ("hump hose" as they call it) this evening. Had to trim about 1/2" off one side and 1/4" off the other side and buy a new clamp for the throttle body side, but it worked out pretty well... Maybe I'll look into the "fernco" this weekend when I'm at Home Depot buying some stuff for the house.

Thanks for all the help guys !

Yeah, I got the "older" version. I think the newer one looks better and probably fits easier. I had to really stretch that little mother to fit it over my TB and I still worried that I did not get it on enough. Tomorrow I will try and post some pics to show the difference.
