Measurements are good. That is basically what every other header is.

Those are good budget headers with a few modifications.
You need to cut the collector off the driver side header and re weld it so it sits straight. You also need to grind the K-member on both sides.

Other than that they are supposed to be pretty good.

I didnt have to do anything on the passengers side. On the drivers side i had to notch the kmember and grind the aluminum tab on the block. I got a custom ypipe made and installed at a local shop for 120.

I didnt have to notch the k member or the tab on the block. They slid right in for me.

You can blank those off or cut and weld. You will need to cut the driver collector and angle. For the $ they can't be touched.

So bang for the buck means initial cost is less, but you need to notch your K-member and block, as well as cut and re-weld the collector? I will pay extra for not having to do that with my Hookers (or any other quality, non-low balling supplier).

Headers look good, but if they require that much work to fit them in, I would say pass.

Can't tell you ya' or nay' because it's not allowed since they aren't a sponsor, but I have them and it takes slight modding to make them fit. I had my driver's side collector cut and dropped 1/4", the air/egr fittings DO NOT line up (mine are deleted so I had them plug welded, but I do know someone who made them work with little effort), and on mine I had to do some slight k-member grinding.

I will say that I am happy with my set.

Well these are not the "XS headers" that used to be on Ebay, not sure if everyone in this thread realizes this but these are copies of those. I have the ole XS headers and did not have to cut the drivers side collector. I did dremel the k member on the drivers side some but no big deal.

Friend of mine bought a set a week after I did, and he didn't touch the collector, and it never hits the floorboard, so there definately is some inconsistancy in them. Maybe a bad jig...? I was pleased for the $$$, but if I had a big budget for headers, I would have gone with Kooks lol.

Well my driverside collector definaetely points up as you can see from the pic below but it never hits the floor of the car. I think the problem is people try and use either aftermarket y pipes or the y pipe XS/lpp provided (which has no drop after the collector) and that would hit the floor board. If the y pipe has an "s" bend or drop after the collector I don't se it as being a problem. Pic of my custom y below.

I tend to agree with last poster. If you run V-bands like me you will need to cut that side so the clamp doesn't hit. No big deal really.
