Default Throttle body question?

can you put a larger throttle body on a stock ls1 intake? is it even worth doing with out up grading your intake? what size do you recomend? brand? do you have to upgrade injectors or sensors?

by the way it is on a 98 ls1 camaro.

thanks matt

The sticky at the top of this section has a lot of good info:

Most people with just 'bolt on' mods ditch the LS1 intake for the LS6 and a ported TB.

You don't need to upgrade your injectors to go from LS1 to LS6 manifold. You can send your TB to a sponsor to get it ported. I had mine done by New Era Performance.

Just P&P the stock TB and save yourself alot of headache.

The stock TB is fine, so spend your money and time on more important things like exhaust, lid, suspension, cam, drivetrain, girls, beer, ect.

Just have a sponser do it. DAMIAN does it for $55 shipped. For that price you have piece of mind that its done right.
