I don't know if you need a stall with a cam, because I don't know much about automatics... But from what everyone on here is saying and the sticky, it certainly sounds like you need one.
But sounds like you've already made up your mind - that you're going to do it. So why even ask for peoples opinion?!

if your gonna go m6,
then just dont waste any money on a cam or stall.
with a m6 it will "feel" faster, but it wont.lol
just get the stall and the cam and a tune
cheeper than going m6 swap. easier to install
i have 2 t56's, but there both in storage, i got tired of being slow.

Well I was looking to go with that cam because it has nothing but good reviews from what I've read. Has a sick lope for being a mild cam as well. Read on the website that a tune is all that it needs but the sticky said different. Was just wondering if anyone had tried it.
