Default Cracked LS1 block

I came accross a good deal, 99' vette LS1 complete with harness and ECU. The block is cracked at the corner near, where the starter bolts up to, the piece is there, I could touch the #8 Cylinder wall. Cylinder wall has no visible damage. Can this block be repaired? Or is the the block trash
thanks

I personally wouldn't use it. You can sometimes find used bare blocks pretty cheap. If it's a real good deal, get it. Then just get another used bare block.

It was probably was hydrolocked. When they went to crank it, the starter busted off the piece. It's common on motors that suck up some water.
