Help, in the middle of a cam swap...
Bring your crank dot to as high at TDC as possible, and line your cam gear up. Done. Don't worry about anything else. As long as your dots are lined up, you will not line anything up 180 off.
Even if you were one tooth off it wouldn't hurt anything, just might move your powerband around a tad.

No prob. Don't forget to use loctite, TQ your cam retainer & sprocket properly, make sure to use a new crank bolt. Also before TQ'ing your rockers wiggle your pushrods pushing them down some to make sure they're seated on the lifter properly and that the lifters drop back down on the cam. This will ensure a more accurate TQ reading.
