I just did this. The driver's side valve cover rear connection gets capped. The passenger side valve cover rear connection gets capped (I updated valve covers as well do I didn't need to cap the passenger side, driver's side comes capped). Connection from throttle body to passenger side valve cover remains as it did on original setup. Tube goes from valley cover into intake on passenger side. I ran mine to a catch can then to the intake though. I can check the valley part number when I get home from work if you need it.

I was fortunate and bought mine from someone on e-bay who was selling the valley cover and valve covers as a set. He bought a crate motor and was installing in an older f-body so he used the original parts. Interesting that GM is shipping the crate motors with this latest setup.

Thumbs up

So you are still seeing the need to run a catch can with this setup or just do it as extra insurance? What catch can do you use? Are you uisng a PCV still? I'm seeing the following part numbers to use:

12577927 (valley cover, comes with bolts & gasket) - $55.17
12594779 (hose) = $2.25
