are these heads comparible in performance as far as an upgrade from stock ls1 heads....Absolute Stage II 5.3 heads vs. tsp stage 2.5 5.3 heads... wich ones are better..

I am not familiar with ablolute but I'm sure PRC 5.3's are as good if not better for the price.

 

PRC heads are definitely a good budget head, but results seem to be hit or miss. I remember AS heads yielding consistant results for years. I'm not too sure why Jay stopped building them

 

The results of the PRC cylinder heads, when paired with the right camshaft and bolt-ons part, are amongst the best in the business when it comes to ported GM castings! As is the case with any cylinder heads out there, regardless of what engine platform, you have to plan the engine combo to make great results. Just throwing parts at the engine does not always yield the best power.
