Default 6.0 with iron heads?

i went to look at a complete 6.0 truck motor today and it had iron heads on it. i searched for some info about the iron heads but could'nt find anything. other than weight are these the same basic casting as the 317's. i was told the motor came out of an 01' 2500. they want $900 for it complete. i'm looking to do a budget swap into my fox mustang with an 80mm turbo.

Yep, same as 317's. Just heavier, harder to repair, and stick to magnets. Probably stronger too.

there fuking smoking crank for 900$
i would offer 300$ for the whole motor and thats because it comes with the long flange crank, can be used with 98 fbody flexplate for
use with th350/th400 trans and tc.
those iron heads weight around 50-60lbs. for pair

i'm new to the game. $900 sounded like a good deal. maybe not. i was told $600 for a 5.3 motor. maybe i need to broaden my search. anybody no of a good source for these motors in southern california?
