Using 4" bore head gasket on STOCK bore ls1

Ive heard this will lower compression, but by how much?

Im curious as im looking at choices for head gaskets and one option is a 4.00" bore.

The only reason to do that would be if you are using 6.0L heads, otherwise not a good idea.
