Question Gaskets

I am in the process of rebuilding my engine and when I ordered all the gaskets the guy told me that I can reuse my valley cover gasket. It is basically the same design as the oil pan and front and rear cover gaskets so does that mean I could have reused them?

I searched and searched some more but could not find an answer. I already have new gaskets some I'm gonna use them. But, I am bout to do a oil pump swap on another car and was thinking bout reusing the front cover gasket.

Well supposedly you can't but I for sure reused mine when did my cam swap and no apparent problems. I went new this time around for current build up but put so much bucks into it that another 300 or more for gaskets just didn't seem as bad.

front cover gasket it fine to reuse just be careful when taking it off incase it is stuck anywhere so you don't tear it. I added just a little bit of black silicone to mine after an oil pump change right where it meets the oil pan. Just for piece of mind against it leaking.
