Default Cam Choice

I know that this subject has been beaten to death and I have read many of the discussions. I am new to the LSx engines and am putting together my first one so I still need help. I have a 37000 mile 98 Corvette LS1. So far I have bought stock 04 LS6 heads with PRC dual .660 springs , an LS6 intake, a ported throttle body, Harland Sharp 1.7 non adjustable roller rockers, and GM "Caddy" lifters. I am looking to make about 400-425 rwhp. The cam that interests me the most is the Comp Cams XER-273HR. It is 224/230 @.050,
.581/.588 lift on a 114 LSA. Will this cam meet my goals? Any one else out there using it? The car is a 66 Buick Skylark with a 200 4R and a 3.42 posi (about 3900 lbs). Converter stall speed recommendations would be good too. Any and all comments are appreciated.

I would use alittle more cam then that. Something in the 228-232@.050 and 111-112LDA range and have atleast 11:1 SCR in it. 3400 Stall also.

Thnaks for the suggestions, JPH. Most of what I have read advised 230* or less with a 114 LSA for an A4 but I see others running larger cams. I will have to look into head milling to see about getting the compression ratio up. I would guess that it would fall into the low 10's to 1 with the 2004 LS6 heads. Thanks again!
