Default Mti T1 228 Cam

Someone is selling a MTI T1 cam, I have searched and read a few threads, but most of them are dated. Can anyone comment on this cam as compared to some of the newer grids that are on the market now?

MTI T1 228/228 558/558 112 LSA, Comp Cam Grind.

I see that it has a smaller lift and should be easy on the springs..

Comments ?

thanks.

i think the T1 is a 221/221 cam. if you want the 228/228, its a texas speed 228r cam.

In my research, there might have been two version of the T1 cam.. one with the smaller 221 duration and a later one with 228 duration.

I beleive that MTI in Houston is out of business, as I can not confirm anything. Most of the post about the MTI cam are from early 2001-2004.

Anyone still running one ? or comments.
