Default Help with rods and crank.

Can anybody tell me which rods are these? Also the crank.

The right one is the one I need to know which one it is. The left its a new set of eagle, 6.125 with 2000 bolts which will be use on another engine. The other one has the L19 bolts and this ones are used.

This is the only pic I got of the crank, all I know that it is forged and 3.622(stock) stroke. Which will be use with the unknow rods.

Default crank, rods

The rods look like Carrillo rods but could very well be K1.

I see the crank was balanced by Benson's. Dan moved to Idaho a couple of years ago. If you give him his job number off the crank he can probably give you some info on what you have. 208-946-6298

The rounded rod looks like a SCAT rod sort of that was narrowed up top.

Thanks for the help guys, a friend of mine has a new set of scats so I'll be compering them soon. The crank was already taken to the machine shop and was worked .010 over, and as long as I know the stroke I should be ok using it right?

I need to get one of this rods so how do you think I can get it? I know that I need to get the weight of it.

I got the weight of the rod, 200.5 on the piston side and 467 on the crank side with the L19 bolts, which is a total of 667.5, now I need to find 1 rod like this.

Yep SCAT can sell you one to match it if you know the part number. You may have a regular sbc rod too instead of the LS1 on center version.

Still with this, now I have a new set of Scat rods as well as the the new set of Eagle rods, the Scat kind of look a like but not exactly.

Could I use another rod as long as it looks the same, has the same L19 bolts and weights the same on both sides?

The Scat dosen't have that hole for the oil, the old one does, as it shows in this pic.

Different engraving, left unknow rod, right Scat rod.

Left uknown rods, right Scat rod.

Eagle, Uknown , Scat

That's weird as my SCATs have that same oil hole on the side?

This ones have one on each side, but you can't see it cause of the pic, I believe the eagles don't have anything as well.
