switching from 987s to 977s....

switching from 987s to 977s.... I am getting ready to switch from Comp 987s to 977s. Anyone ever done the switch? Whats involved as far as parts and labor?

Re: switching from 987s to 977s.... If you have Ti or Steel retainers the same retainers will work from the 987's to the 977's. The installed height of the springs is +.050 higher on the 977's
You should also consider running the 4704 spring seats since there is so much higher pressure with the 977 springs. If you don't have the 875-16 Comp R lifters then this is a good time to get them since the stock ones will colapse up the pressure of those springs.
