Default ls2 cam in a ls1(lq4)

Ok I did search.. but not alot.

I know that the LS2 cam and LS1 cam have different cam sensor reluctor positions.

What would need to be done to install a LS2 cam into a LS1(LQ4) engine?

I will need to relocate the sensor to the front of the engine since I can't put a reluctor wheel onto the cam. Reuse the timing set from the LS2. Replace the front engine cover and a new LS2 cam sensor.

Is there anything else?

I ask these questions because the goat is most likely to be treated to some mods soon. And I thought what the hell. I'll throw the heads, cam, and maybe a manifold and some headers on the truck. It's an '02 2500HD LQ4 6.0, and yes I still want to tow with it.

Is the LS2 cam to big for towing?

It seems I saw one very simular advertized as strong low to mid, good towing.?
