some of yall read my previous post about a ticking sound that is there all the time now...


i pulled the driver valvecover and was inspecting the pushrods... all were good except one... it has a groove cut into it all around it and theres a dent or a deep scrape of some sort... what caused this?.. i tried to put up pics buit the digi cam is a pos...

 

did you hit the rev limiter?

 

nope just 3 days ago i went out to start the car and a ticking started and it gets faster as i throttle up...

 

its a ring groove cut in it right near the tip of the push rod and theres a marr.. like someone hit it with a hammer sort of.. hard to describe
