i'm building a 03 lq9 to put in my 97 bird. i have the motor apart right now, needs new bearings, rings and cleaning the block up. wanted to know what the limits of the stock rods and pistons are. i understand that the cranks are pretty strong. i'm planning to put in arp main & head studs and rod bolts. whats a safe rpm, hp and compression ratio for the other components.
