i started my cam install today!
i started my cam install today! Like it says today i started my cam install, so far everything is going kinda smoothly. i am installing the MS4 cam on tuesday because thats when it should be here, i am installing it with the motor in the car and the heads will not be taken off, i hope... i got as far as pulling out the factory cam! A few bumps in the road and they were pulling the radiator out, i needed a friend for that, crank pulley off, it helps to have the right tools, and i made my own JPR i used 5/16" SS rod and took my angle grinder and shaved off about 1/32" on one side to make it flat, and made the end pointed. they went in smoothly with some work and the lifters are held up now. so i hope the rest goes as well as this. i have not been taking pictures. i have been using LS1howto directions and they are great!

It'll be a VERY rewarding feeling when she fires back up for the first time and you hear that camshaft...and know that you saved a big chunk of $$ doing it yourself!
