this past weekend i ran my ss truck , forged 370 arp head studs with patriot stg 3's, 9.25 cr. vortech t trim pushing 16 psi with a 125 wet shot through a nitro daves vic jr intake spray bars.

ran an 11.1 @ 121 but now i have leaks on both side of the engine , check the plug on # 7 it was nice and dry . but havent checked others. leak appears to be coming from 5 and 6 i believe . i just thought its kind of weird to have blown both of them in the same spot on both sides. i just dont think it can be anything else.

gaskets are a cometic .060 mls gasket . any ideas?

 

Its very possible you created a little to much cylinder pressure with that N20 and boost and got a little to aggressive with the timing and lifted both heads on the same run.

 

yeah thats what i think happened too , it seems to run fine though so . looks like ill b epulling the heads off.
