Re: Stroker Motor 382.....422 numbers?
MTI 383ci
4.000 stroke (lunati crank/rods/wiseco pistons)
3.905 bore (LS6 alum block)
R1 cam: 232/236/.575/.578/114
MTI LS6 stage II heads
458rwhp/448rwtq
On MTI dyno, thru Moser 12-bolt with 4.10s, on 245/50/16 Nitto DRs, and with cutout open.
See sig. for rest of setup.
I currently have an FLP 2.5" y-pipe and the LS1edit tuning is still not complete (90%).
Will get a 3" custom y-pipe and wide-band tuning at MTI very soon and expect to make 470+rwhp/460+rwtq with those additions!
This is a very streetable engine that idles very smooth once it has warmed up. Also got 29mpg on a 350 mile trip towards Dallas a month ago, averaging 80-85 mph in 6th gear.

John, those are awesome numbers , but i have to say Randy your set up is very impressive also. You are only 15HP behind a 422 stroker. Thanks for sharing the info guys.
