Cam Help
I want to install a cam this winter on my 2002 camaro. My car is basically stock. I have 3.73 gears, and corsa exhaust. I only drive the car like once every two weeks. I want it to be still somewhat reliable. What cam is best for me? I just want to make more power and have that lopey idle. I have been looking but i am totally clueless on what is best for me. I will get a stall converter when i know what i need for the cam. please help me. Also what else do i need to change along with the cam?
Do your research before you decide. Here is a good starting point:

you will need pushrods, oil pump, timing set, valve springs, and gaskets. As for the cam i have a thread asking the same thing. I want lopey idle and only drive mine on the weekends. Let me know what you find out as i will for you to

You prolly don't need the whole timing set, just the LS2 chain ($35-$40).
EDIT: And yes stay away from a TCI TC. Cheaping out on a TC will cost you more in the long run IMHO.
