I keep having this noise issue with these heads and pushrod and whatever else! But i was reading a few post tonight and guys where talking about have there vavles recess for more ptv clearance ! When i installed the trv3 on my old motor with these heads the ptv was super tight ! So i called Jason at tsp and he said he would recess the vavles .025 to make little more room !
The vavle train seems really noisy and i am running a thicker gasket with this new motor .052 or .051 and the same pushrods ! So if he reccess the vavles and didnt trim the end that would me i need a shorter pushrod right ? Or would that even matter? Kinda confussed ! I am only asking this because i a guy on here had this issue were he would lose compression only when the motor was warmed up and come to find out it was the recess valves causing this and he also said had noisy vavle train!
