harland sharp roller rockers
Hey guys I have a 98 T/A and I'm upgrading heads to a p&p 241. Before putting them on I wanted to build them a bit. so I purchased chromally pushrods, and titanium retainers, about to purchased valve springs but stuck on the roller rockers...I have a cam on the car (don’t ask me numbers or what kind I wish I knew it came on the car when I bought it and the idiot didn’t know what it had in it..Said he paid a shop to just throw a cam in...
stupid people) anyway so after talking to a few people locally I was recommended to the Harland sharp 1.7's. I found them in the summit racing catalog for about 380ish I think...but my tune guy said you're wasting money the only ones that work better then stock are the ones that come on a rail and you'll spend about 700-800 on them! So I’d like to know what you guys think before I put these heads on...also if you could give me an est. power gain by putting roller rockers on that'd be great. A friend of mine said he gained 15rwhp out of these Harland sharps (hard to believe but idk...)

This will give you a smoother operation and its cheaper call them to get a breakdown. You also will save weight by just rebuilding what you have over new ones. Problem solved.
honestly, money better spent elsewhere.
you'll see minimal gains from them, never enough to feel.
that $400 can go into better options
save a few hundred more bucks and you can have the new StreetWarrior intake....assuming it comes out this decade.
