Default Holden V8 = LS1 correct?

The Holden V8 is the same as the LS1 correct? The reason I ask is that Comp cam makes a solid roller lifter that says:

881-16 Holden V8 "The best and only set available for the Holden. Works in any application."

Diameter = 0.842"

Are these LS1 specific solid lifters? I was told the stock lifter bore is 0.844".

Holden had a V8 prior to the LS1, you should probably call Comp Cams to verify.

The holden V8 was made in the early 70s in Australia as a replacement to the small block chev. It remained in production till replaced by the LS1 in 1999. Answer to your query completely different motor.
