From my setup what do you guys recommend for a daily driver cam. 02 SS auto // Hooker comp LT headers // hooker Y-pipe // magnaflow 3'' exhaust // SLP CAI. I want to gain HP of course, even if its a small amount, but will I benefit from a tr224 114LSA without having to buy the ls6 intake or heads???? I'm just curious with my current setup, will I still gain by just buying the cam but without buying the ls6 intake right away? I will also get a dyno tune right away.

If your car is an 02 it already has the LS6 intake on it. That cam will work well with the setup you have. I would recommend upgrading your converter if you haven't already, as it is one of the best mods you can do for an A4 car.

Oh I didn't know that was so on the 02..awesome. I really would like to get a converter and I understand the potential they bring on the a4 but....dont the stalls just kill the tranny...or is there one out there that will still give me benefit but safe on the tranny??
thanks for the info so far. :]

A bigger stall will produce more heat, but as long as you install an aftermarket trans cooler you shouldn't have any problems. My Yank SS3600 has been in the car for 3 years now and I haven't had any tranny issues at all. I drive my car 3 to 4 days a week and the car has 65,000 miles on it, plus a good many track passes on it.
